LOOK: High winds cause massive roof damage

High winds have caused massive roof damage to Royal Court Plaza on Bunting Rd. in St. Catharines.

CKTB's Tom McConnell tweeted pictures of the damage, including a shot of a section of roof lying on top of a van in the parking lot.

Tenants of the apartment building are being evacuated.

A wind warning has been issued for Niagara and Hamilton, with wind gusts reaching 90 kilometres an hour.

So far the region has seen power outages, several fallen trees, and a truck flipped onto its side on the QEW Fort Erie Bound.
