LOOK | Police in Niagara Falls NY rescue kitten from car engine

Police in Niagara Falls, New York have rescued a kitten  from the engine compartment of a vehicle.

A photoset posted to Facebook shows the rescue take place.

 

According to the post, a passerby heard meows coming from the vehicle near the Niagara County Trott Access Center. 

Police were able to get in touch with the owner of the vehicle who came out and opened the hood. 

While they tried to rescue the kitten, it crawled deeper into the car.

A nearby mechanic came over and was able to coax the kitten back up where it could be grabbed.
