Lundy's Lane reopened after 5 hour closure

Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls has reopened to traffic after a five hour closure.

Police  closed a portion of Lundy's Lane  between Kalar and Montrose as they investigated a collision between a car and pedestrian.

Police tell us the pedestrian was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.

There's been no update on the condition of the victim.

This is the second incident involving a car and pedestrian in Niagara Falls.

Last month,  a 50 year old Hamilton woman was struck and killed by a car that ran a stop sign on Ferry Street
