Man airlifted to hospital after scooter crash in Niagara Falls
A man has suffered serious injuries after falling off his scooter in Niagara Falls.
Police say the incident happened just after 2 o'clock today on River Road near Eastwood Crescent.
Investigators say that a 57-year-old man was driving his scooter in the bicycle lane north bound on River Road where he lost control, struck the curb and fell from the scooter.
He struck his head on the sidewalk and suffered life threatening injures and had to be flown to an out of town hospital.
There were no other vehicles involved in this collision.
This collision remains under investigation by Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Coroner's Office.
