Man in hospital after near drowning in Flamborough
A young man believed to be in his early 20's is listed in critical condition in hospital after being pulled from Gulliver's Lake in Flamborough.
The victim had no vital signs when he was rescued from the former quarry.
Police say he was swimming with a group of friends, when one found him under water and brought him to the shore just before 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
An off duty nurse along with some bystanders started CPR until paramedics arrived on scene.
The Spec is reporting the man was part of an office party outing from the Keg Steakhouse in the GTA.
