Marineland case adjourned again
Marineland was back in court this morning.
The Niagara Falls theme park is facing a total of 11 charges related to animal cruelty, laid by the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
At the first brief court appearance in January, the case was remanded until February; it was then remanded again when Marineland asked for more time to study the evidence.
Five of the charges were laid in November by the OSPCA surrounding the alleged mistreatment of peacocks, guinea hens and black bears.
In January another six charges were added, alleging mistreatment of elk and deer at the park.
This morning the case was once again adjounred this time until May 5th.
