Meridian Credit Union scoops up naming rights for Pelham Community Centre
Plenty of smiling faces and applause as the new community centre in Pelham gets an official name: the Meridian Community Centre.
Meridian Credit Union has donated one million dollars in exchange for naming rights.
The latest cash infusion helps the town reach 90% of the three million dollar fundraising goal.
In acknowledgement of the donation, Pelham Town Council will also name the street immediately north of the community centre 'Meridian Way.'
The community centre is expected to open this summer, and the capital fundraising campaign will continue until all major spaces have been named.
