Mid-Peninsula Highway returns for discussion
A new report from a federal Commons committee suggests the Niagara Hamilton area could become the site of an expanded national trade corridor.
And the Hamilton Port Authority wants to be a part of it.
The Spec reporting the HPA is looking to play a big role in developing lands along the Welland Canal.
The agency notes there is no where for it to grow in Hamilton but there is plenty of land between St. Catharines and Port Colborne to develop.
The Commons committee report is recommending the government take a close look at those lands to make sure economic opportunities are not being missed
