Mulroney "very very surprised" to hear Patrick Brown is running for PC leadership

With Patrick Brown back in the race vying for his old job, how are the other candidates reacting?

Ontario PC Leadership hopeful Caroline Mulroney joining CKTB shortly after the former Tory leader announced that he filed his paperwork to reclaim his job.

Mulroney telling CKTB's Larry Fedoruk that she was at an event in Waterloo when she heard the news.

She says she was very surprised, but it doesn't change anything for her and her campaign.

Mulroney was in St.Catharines on Wednesday talking to local residents at Johnny Rocco's.

Doug Ford also paying Welland a visit on Tuesday night.

The other candidates include Christine Elliott, and social conservative advocate Tanya Granic Allen.

Elections Ontario now lists him as one of five candidates vying for the party's top post.
