Multiple crashes in Niagara Monday morning as black ice reported - freezing rain expected tonight
Niagara Regional Police and OPP responded to a number of collisions in the region early Monday
Black ice is reported in spots on Highway 58.
An earlier collision this morning on the Northbound 58 at St. David's involved at least two vehicles that spun out on black ice.
NRP confirming Burleigh Hill in St Catharines which was closed earlier today due to a black ice crash, has since reopened.
Niagara and much of the GTHA is sitting under a special weather statement warning of freezing drizzle tonight and freezing rain overnight which could cause problems for the morning commute.
