Murder victim hit with eggs before being fatally stabbed
Hamilton police say they would like to speak with the person who threw eggs at a 42-year-old man before he was fatally assaulted and left to die on a sidewalk.
Dwayne Bride was pronounced dead in hospital after he was found early Saturday suffering wounds from what police say was a ``sharp-edged weapon.''
Investigators say the man had been arguing with some cyclists, prompting someone in a nearby apartment building to throw eggs at him and the people he was fighting with.
It's alleged that the cyclists, who police say were young white males aged 15 to 20, assaulted Bride and then fled on their bikes.
