New Chief named for Niagara Parks Police
A new chief has been chosen for the Niagara Parks Police.
Paul Forcier has been with Niagara Parks Police for thirty years, and was named Chief today.
Forcier, who was born and raised in Niagara Falls, began policing in 1988 following his completion of the Niagara College Law and Security Program.
In 1995, Forcier was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and then Staff Sergeant in 2000.
Forcier has been the Acting Chief since March of this year, following the firing of former Chief Mark McMullen.
McMullen is still under investigation for an incident that took place last summer that is being reviewed by an outside firm.
