NewLeaf travel postpones flights between Hamilton and Florida
Discount air carrier NewLeaf Travel is cancelling flights citing competition from West Jet.
NewLeaf President Jim Young has announced they will be postponing service to Florida from Hamilton's John C. Munroe airport and has also cancelled plans to offer flights between Alberta and Arizona.
Young says within hours of NewLeaf announcing the Arizona route, West Jet lowered its fares and offered service to the same airport.
The airline chief says NewLeaf will issue refunds to customers.
