Toronto's GM Kyle Dubas commented on the situation after the game saying that the club is aware of the reports and the issue of homophobia is one the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey club strong condemns and takes very seriously.
He says they are in communication with the NHL and are cooperating fully with their office.
