Niagara County legislature wants criminal probe into Niagara River spill
Politicians in Niagara Falls, New York want criminal investigations launched into the July 29th discharge of wastewater that turned the water below Niagara Falls black.
The Niagara County Legislature is requesting three separate investigations -- by the New York state attorney general, the Niagara County district attorney and the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
