Niagara Falls commission to mark WWI anniversary with bells

Bells will be ringing 100 times throughout the country tomorrow to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of The First World War.

And the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission is participapting in the Bells of Peace initiative.

Bells will ring at the U-S Canada border at the Rainbow Bridge.

The Bells of Peace initiative was started by the Royal Canadian Legion.

It's meant to emulate a spontaneous ringing of church bells that erupted on Nov. 11, 1918, in celebration of the war's end.
