Niagara Falls council not on board with proposed changes to garbage collection in the region
The City of Niagara Falls is not on board with the Region's proposed changes to garbage collection.
The Region has been pitching every other week collection and the use of clear bags as possible changes when the current contract is up in 2021.
Niagara Falls Council was unanimous in their position to leave service levels as they are and to have no change to clear bags.
Niagara's 12 municipalities have been asked to provide their feedback to those and other possible changes by February 20th.
