Niagara Falls the epicentre of snow this morning
If you're just heading out the door, the weather looks worse than it is, at least for commuters.
Plows and sanders have managed to keep ahead of the slushy mix falling on Niagara.
A quick check of MTO traffic cams finds all of our majors wet but free of snow.
The only hot spot this morning seems to be Niagara Falls which received more than the forecast 4 cm.
If you are in the falls or heading that way, most of of the main roads are in decent shape, but the side streets are very slushy and messy.
Periods of snow are expected to taper off by the lunch hour, with another 2cm in the forecast before it ends.
The snow won't stay for very long, highs of 13 are forecast this weekend and then we warm up to highs around 19 to start the work week.
