Niagara municipalities mark World Autism Awareness Day
Municipalities across Niagara will be marking World Autism Awareness Day.
Technically, yesterday was the actual day, but given that yesterday was Easter Monday most of the flag raising ceremonies will take place today.
Autism Ontario's website lists special events all across Niagara throughout the day:
Fort Erie - 1 Municipal Centre Dr. - 8:30 a.m.
Grimsby - 160 Livingston Ave - 8:45 a.m.
Lincoln - 4800 S Service Rd. Beamsville - 9:30 a.m.
Niagara Falls - 4310 Queen St. - 11:00 a.m.
Niagara-on-the-Lake - 1593 Four Mile Creek Rd. - 10 a.m.
Pelham - 20 Pelham Town Square - 4 p.m.
Port Colborne - 66 Charlotte St. - 10:30 a.m.
St. Catharines - 50 Church St. - 1:30 p.m.
Thorold - 3540 Schmon Parkway - 10:00 a.m.
Wainfleet - 31940 Highway 3 - 8:45 a.m.
Welland - 60 East Main St. - 8:30 a.m.
West Lincoln - 318 Canborough St. Smithville 9:30 a.m.
Niagara Falls also went blue last night in a show of support.
