Niagara-On-The-Lake financier facing fraud and theft charges out on bail
A Niagara on the Lake financier is out on bail after being arrested on fraud and theft charges.
According to a CBC investigation at least a dozen business owners and budding entrepreneurs from across the province paid Peter Corbiere thousands of dollars in fees, in exchange for loans to improve their businesses, but the money never materialized.
Corbiere was initially arrested April 11th in Toronto for failure to appear before a small claims court.
On Tuesday he was taken into custody again by Huron OPP and charged with fraud.
