Niagara Paramedics will be out on patrol this Halloween making sure our kids are safe

Niagara EMS will be out tonight making sure trick or treaters are safe.

Bryce Brunarski, Acting Superintendent of Public Relations and Affairs tells CKTB you may see paramedics patrolling Niagara's roads handing out glow sticks.

Brunarski says the main safety concern on Halloween night is ensuring children are visible to motorists.

He is asking trick or treaters to wear light coloured costumes when possible, or wear glow/reflective strips to ensure drivers can see them.

He's also asking parents to go over their children's candy to make sure it hasn't been tampered with.
