Niagara parents shouldn't worry about immunizations unless they received the yellow letter
If you received a letter from your child's school about outdated immunization records, don't panic unless you received a yellow letter.
All Niagara Catholic families received a message regarding immunizations on Wednesday evening, sent by the Board on behalf of Niagara Region Public Health.
Public Health providing some clarity.
If you received a yellow “Order for Suspension from Attendance at School” letter in the mail this month, and have not contacted Public Health with updated immunization information, then please contact Public Health at 1-888-505-6074 or 905-688-8248 ext. 7425 Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
If your family did not receive a yellow “Order for Suspension from Attendance at School” letter in the mail, your child is not at risk of suspension due to missing immunization information and you do not need to contact Public Health regarding immunization status.
For more information regarding immunizations please contact Public Health, or visit the website niagararegion.ca/health.
