Niagara Region accepting applications for two high paying positions
The Niagara Region looking to fill a couple top administrative positions.
A job posting on its website invites interested applicants to apply to become the region's next clerk.
The job pays between $122,000 and $144,000 a year.
Current clerk Ralph Walton, who took the job in August of 2014, is leaving for a job with Durham Region.
There is also a job posting for a newly created post, a deputy chief administrative officer.
The salary for that position listed between $167,000 and $197,000.
The posting says the deputy CAO who reports directly to CAO Carmen D'Angela, will be responsible for ensuring programs and services support the achievement of Council's priorities, deliver high-quality customer service and are cost effective and results-oriented.
