Niagara residents can help shape regional Code of Conduct
Niagara Council is looking for your input when it comes to the region's Code of Conduct.
The Code outlines how Regional Councillors should conduct themselves in carrying out their responsibilities.
It establishes ethical standards that must be followed by all Councillors.
Residents can participate by attending a public meeting, completing an online survey or provide written submissions.
At the public meeting, Interim Integrity Commissioner John Mascarin will be on hand to outline the legislative framework of the Code of Conduct, current proposed legislative changes and other relevant information.
The public meeting will be held April 11th at 6:30 p.m. at Regional headquarters.
You can find the link to the survey online.
