Niagara's first baby of New Year a bouncing baby girl
Kinsley Aria is Niagara's first baby of 2018.
The 7 pound, 6 ounce girl made her arrival yesterday morning at 12:51 at the St. Catharines hospital.
Parents Kennedy Wilson and Bryan Gent say it was a suprise, Kinsley wasn't due until January 24th.
Meantime, the first babies to be born in Canada both came right at the stroke of midnight in Toronto.
One of the infants, a seven pound 11 ounce girl, born at St Michael's hospital was greeted by fireworks going off in nearby Nathan Phillips Square.
