Niagara's jobless rate is down
Some encouraging economic news for Niagara.
The region's jobless rate fell 0.7 percent to 5.8 percent last month.
In April we were sitting at 6.5 percent.
Across Canada the unemployment rate is at its lowest level ever.
The economy added another 27-thousand, 700 jobs in May coming on top of the record 106-thousand, 500 jobs created in April.
