Niagara to put its best foot forward today in quest for Canada Games

The Canada Games Council’s bid committee will be in Niagara today for a site visit.

Regional Chair Alan Caslin says they start the morning at the Scotiabank Centre in Niagara Falls at 9:00 and will stop by the Meridian Centre at 4:30.

He's asking local residents to come out and show that the Niagara Region wants and supports the bid.

The region has committed $10 million in the hopes of winning the bid for the 2021 games.

Niagara is up against Waterloo, Sudbury and Ottawa.

A final decision will be made March 30th.
