No threat as man removed from Brock campus
Brock University says there is no threat to safety on campus after a man was removed from the property today.
A University spokesperson says shortly after 12:30 p.m., a man wearing what looked like a security vest and a holster, which contained what appeared to be a bb gun, arrived at Brock campus and asked for directions to the Campus Security office.
Brock Security officers spoke with him and contacted Niagara Regional Police, who arrived and removed the man from the campus.
The man, who was not a Brock student, was served with a trespass notice by University security staff.
Brock Security officers did not consider the situation to be a threat to safety on campus, and the matter was left with NRP.
