NRP make an arrest after theft of 20 high-end bikes in Niagara
Niagara police have made an arrest after 20 bikes were stolen in the region.
In November of 2016 police began an investigation into a series of high-end road racing bicycles in St. Catharines.
The investigation expanded into Lincoln and Grimsby.
In total at least 20 racing bicycles were stolen from open garages throughout the areas.
The stolen racing bicycles were then sold on a buy and sell website to seemingly unknowing purchasers throughout Southern Ontario.
As a result of the investigation, Trevor (James) Armstrong of Grimsby has been charged with Break and Enter Commit and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
