NRP search for two men wanted on long list of child sexual abuse charges

Niagara Regional Police are searching for two men wanted on a laundry list of child sexual abuse charges.

Back in January, police began investigating reports of child abuse within the Niagara Region, Toronto, and other parts of Ontario.

As a result, Moaid M. Mohamed and Ibrahim Muhamed Suliman were hit with many charges including trafficking persons under 18, making and distributing child pornography, and sexual assault. 

Officials say the female victim was under the age of 16 at the time of the alleged offences.

Once the warrants were issued for their arrest, the pair fled the country.

Officials believe the two are back in Canada, and are known to frequent the St. Catharines and Toronto area.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Months before the sexual abuse investigation, police had stopped one of the  suspects, Mohamed, during a routine traffic stop in St. Catharines but he fled the scene.

 

Moaid M. Mohamed faces the following charges:

- Trafficking in Persons under 18 years of age
- Material Benefit under 18 years
- Material Benefit From Sexual Services under
- Procuring 18 years of age (Recruiting)
- Advertising Sexual Services
- Obtaining Sexual Services For Consideration under 18
- Make/Publish Child Pornography
- Householder Permitting Prohibited Sexual Behaviour
- Sexual Assault Victim under 16 years (2 Counts)
- Sexual Interference (2 Counts)
- Assault(2 Counts)


Ibrahim Muhamed Suliman faces the following charges:
- Trafficking in Persons under 18 years of age
- Material Benefit under 18 years
- Material Benefit From Sexual Services under
- Procuring 18 years of age (Recruiting
- Advertising Sexual Services
- Obtaining Sexual Services For Consideration under
- Make/Publish Child Pornography
-  Householder Permitting Prohibited Sexual Behaviour
- Sexual Assault Victim under 16 years (3 Counts)
- Sexual Interference (3 Counts)
