OBIT | Hockey legend Red Kelly dies at 91

Hockey legend Leonard (Red) Kelly, who starred for the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs, has died at age 91.

Kelly played in over 1300 NHL games over 20 seasons.

He won eight Stanley Cups and won the James Norris trophy for best defencemen.

He also won the Lady Byng Award four times over his career for being the league's most gentlemenly player.

He was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1969.
