Officers stop 17 vehicles in St. Catharines during traffic enforcement


Niagara Regional Police stop 17 vehicles while conducting traffic enforcement in St. Catharines.

During the noon hours, NRP's Traffic Enforcement Unit set up at the Martindale and Fourth Ave intersection.

They were targeting red light offenders, and vehicles blocking the intersection.

In that short amount of time, officers stopped 17 vehicles.

They say the drivers were educated on proper road safety.
