Alexander Krushelnitsky admitting to a doping violation after testing positive for the banned substance meldonium.
The substance is believed to help blood circulation.
Krushelnitsky's results have been disqualified according to The Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Russian officials are investigating the possibility that his food or drink could have been spiked.
