On campus vigil planned at university in North Carolina following deadly shooting
A 22 year old man is in custody after another deadly shooting at a university campus in the US.
Students and staff at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte are encouraged to reach out to support services and counsellors after a horrific shooting yesterday.
A vigil will also be help on campus later today.
Two people were killed when the gunman opened fire on the last day of class, four others were hurt.
The Chancellor of UNC Charlotte Philip L. Dubois calls it the saddest day in the school's history. "The days ahead will be some of the most challenging we have ever encountered. All I can say for certain is that we will get through them together. There is still much that we don't know, and we will share information with you as soon as it is available."
The FBI is also investigating.
