One person dead in early morning crash by Allanburg bridge in Thorold
A single vehicle crash this morning near the Allanburg bridge in Thorold has left one person dead.
NRP were called ot the scene on Highway 20 east this morning just after 10:30 a.m.
Investigation revealed an eastbound vehicle went out of control, struck a guard rail and crossed into the oncoming traffic coming to a rest in the ditch on the west side of the road.
The 54 year old female driver from Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation and any witnesses are asked to contact police.
