ONGOING | Attack in Niagara Falls with blunt weapon
A portion of McGrail Ave in Niagara Falls is being cordoned off by police for an active investigation this morning.
Niagara Regional Police Constable Phil Gavin confirms a report came in as a shooting, but now that officers are on scene they do not believe that is the case.
Right now they are investigating the incident as an attack with a blunt weapon.
Two people were injured in the attack - one person was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
Police believe this was a targeted attack.
