Ontario's Open for Business sign 'coming soon'

When Doug Ford made a promise to erect a sign proclaiming 'Ontario Is Open For Business' at the New York/Ontario border during a Niagara campaign stop back in May, few people thought to take the declaration literally.

As it turns out, we were wrong.

During an announcement yesterday, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Jim Wilson said, "It's coming soon."

In a video filmed by our sister station Newstalk1010 an incredulous, "Honestly?"  can be heard from a member of the assembled media

The minister simply shrugs, "He's in the printing business."

Wilson went on to say the sign wouldn't be printed by Deco Labels and Tags, the company founded by the Premier's father.
