Oosterhoff working to keep West Lincoln Memorial on PC agenda
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff making good on his campaign promise to continue to bang the drum for redevelopment of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby.
Yesterday Oosterhoff sent an open letter to the Minister of Health and Long Term care, Christine Elliott, asking the Minister to do everything in her power to expedite the redevelopment previously promised by the Liberal government in 2009 and 2012.
Oosterhoff outlined the 70 year history of the hospital and its “unique placement in the Hamilton Health Sciences eco-system.”
Oosterhoff sent a similar letter to PC leader Doug Ford in the morning hours the day after June’s election.
Speaking with CKTB, Oosterhoff says he will keep pressure on his PC government to achieve his goal of redevelopment of the hospital.
