OPP believe Niagara Falls woman's death may have been caused by road rage incident
A 22 year old Niagara Falls woman is dead and a 19 year old Falls woman is in critical condition following a five vehicle crash Saturday night on the QEW in Mississauga.
Police have identified the victim as Nicole Turcotte.
OPP are now searching for a sixth vehicle which they believe triggered the crash as a result of road rage.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says investigators believe the sixth car was driving in the middle lane of the highway, moved into the left lane and abruptly slowed down, causing other vehicles behind them to slow down and triggering the multi-vehicle crash.
Police say the vehicle left the scene.
Cops are looking for a dark coloured car, similar in appearance to a Honda Civic, with a recently registered license plate starting with the initials “CE”.
