OPP concerned drivers aren't buckling up
OPP aren't pleased with the results of their long weekend campaign focusing on seat belt use.
Police say despite warning drivers ahead of the Easter Weekend blitz, they laid 1,524 seat belt charges.
OPP say that marks a five year high.
With 10 seat belt related deaths on highways so far this year, police are once again reminding drivers and passengers choosing not to buckle up could cost them their lives.
