OPP reminding motorists to stop for school busses
Provincial police are reminding drivers to be extra cautious on the roads as children return to school next week.
Motorists must stop whenever approaching a stopped school bus with its alternating red lights flashing and its stop arm extended.
They are not allowed to proceed until the red lights stop flashing and the stop arm retracts.
Drivers who fail to stop could face fines up to two-thousand dollars as well as six demerit points.
