OPSEU wants investigation into ties between the Premier and the booze industry
The Ontario Public Service Employees Union wants the province's integrity commissioner to look into the Ford government's relationship with beer and wine companies.
OPSEU says its researchers have found nearly two dozen cases in which groups or individuals tied to the alcohol industry have made thousands of dollars in donations to the Ford PCs.
It questions if government policies are being made based on cheques that are written.
Since taking office, the Tories have made a several changes to Ontario's booze laws.
No word yet if the integrity commissioner will agree to the request.
