Pathstone to set up walk in mental health clinic for youth in the falls
It took no time for Niagara Falls City Council to approve $20,000 in funding for a new walk-in mental health clinic for young people.
Council unanimously agreed to supply the funds to Pathstone Mental Health and find a secure space to hold the clinic which will take place one day a week.
Several community groups have already stepped forward to offer room at their facilities.
A report to councillors says young people between the ages of 6 and 18 in Niagara Falls are experiencing a gap in service when it comes to their mental well-being.
