Pelham welcomes familiar face to represent Ward One

Pelham has appointed a councillor to Ward One.

James Lane was sworn in last night, taking his seat at the start of Pelham Council. Lane will be filling the vacancy left by former Ward One Councillor Marvin Junkin who resigned his seat at the start of November with a terse letter criticizing Pelham Council.

This is far from Lane's first time in the horseshoe - in 2008 he filled the seat left vacant when MP Malcolm Allen was elected in the Welland federal riding, and then in 2013 he was appointed to fill the vacancy left by former councillor Larry Clark who moved to BC.
