Police charge alleged serial killer with seventh murder
Police are now charging accused serial killer Bruce McArthur with a seventh murder.
The new charge was announced this morning as McArthur appeared in a Toronto courtroom via video.
No name has been attached the seventh victim at this time.
The 66 year old landscaper was previously charged with first degree murder in the deaths of six men with connections to Toronto's LGBTQ community.
Police say they have recovered the remains of seven people hidden within planter pots around a home where McArthur worked and stored his equipment.
A news conference is scheduled for later today.
