Police charge Hamilton man after pedestrian hit on sidewalk
Hamilton Police are charging a 28 year old man after a pedestrian was hit while walking on the sidewalk.
Emergency responders were called to the crash on February 24th around 2 a.m.
They discovered a 21 year old Dunnville man was walking eastbound on Burton Street toward Cheever Street when he was hit by a van.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and the van left the scene with major damage.
Police were able to identify the driver of the van on Saturday, March 2nd. Chad McIntosh of Hamilton has been charged with failing to remain at a collision.
