Police make arrest after man allegedly points flare gun at Tim Horton's customers
Police have arrested a 55 year old Hamilton man after getting reports of a suspect pointing a weapon at Tim Hortons customers.
On Saturday night just after 10:30 p.m. Hamilton Police were called to the Timmy's on John Street South.
When they arrived, they immediately arrested a man sitting at a table. During the arrest they discovered he had an unloaded flare gun.
Police say the suspect had been pointing the flare gun at other patrons and making threats.
Karsten Schreiner is charged with uttering threats and two counts of pointing a firearm.
