Port Colborne and Grimsby welcome Santa this weekend

The big man is back in town to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Santa comes back to Niagara this weekend visiting Grimsby and Port Colborne.

Grimsby's Santa Claus parade starts at 5:15 p.m. tomorrow night. The parade travels eastbound along Livingston Ave. to Main St. W at Town Hall and ends at the Ontario St. intersection.

Fire Chief Bill Thomson says the Firefighters Association will be once again collecting donations along the route supporting the Grimsby Benevolent Fund.

Port Colborne also has their parade this weekend, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The route begins at Port Colborne High School, travels south on Steele Street to Clarence Street, moving east to West Street, south to Charlotte, and ending at Market Square in Front of City Hall.

Afterwards children can join Santa at the Guild Hall for a cup for fair trade hot chocolate thanks to Port Colborne for Fair Trade.
