Port Colborne community pays tribute to Humboldt Broncos
The City of Port Colborne is giving Niagara residents another chance to send their support to the people of Humboldt.
A condolence book, a picture of the Humboldt Broncos team, and a bouquet of flowers have all been laid out in the lobby of City Hall. Anyone who wants to sign the book is welcome to stop in and pay their respects. After two weeks the book will be sent to the funeral home in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
Flags throughout Niagara have been lowered to recognize the unbelievable hurt the team's friends and family are suffering through.
Hockey sticks have also been left outside buildings throughout the region, including Port Colborne City Hall and the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.
Thousands of people across Canada will also be donning sports jerseys and green shirts tomorrow for 'Jersey Day' to honour the victims of the terrible crash.
