Port Colborne man has big travel plans
David Grand of Port Colborne has big travel plans after winning $150,000.
Grand winning the POKER LOTTO ALL IN jackpot worth $146,347.90 on June 26, 2017. David also won $5,000 on the instant portion of his POKER LOTTO play bringing his total winnings to $151,347.90.
“I was at the store and decided to play POKER LOTTO ALL IN before I bought a few things,” shared David while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings. “I had no idea I was about to win!”
Surprised about the number he saw on the screen, David felt confused. “I thought it was an error message. The retailer quickly corrected me and said, ‘Dude, you just won more than $150,000!’ I was shocked because it’s so much money and it’s incredible to think that it’s mine.”
David is already making plans for his windfall. “I love to travel and this win could take me to parts far and wide starting in London, U.K. Then I might visit Holland, Italy, Greece and as far away as Japan. Traveling the world would be amazing. Closer to home though, I would love to support my sisters and their musical interests. Maybe I can get them some studio time. Of course, there are always home renovations to do and perhaps even upgrade my car.”
“Winning the lottery feels like a dream, this has to be surreal,” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on West Side Road in Port Colborne.
